About i.t.s.

i.t.s. is about providing value and options for you. It is our job to make sure that you have the right solution to achieve your goals. It is too common for some to throw technology at a problem and achieve less than anticipated results. At i.t.s. we have found that solving a problem means you have to apply a comprehensive approach to the situation in order to achieve the best results.

In our experience we have found that while other IT companies can deploy new computers or even upgrade old ones, very few are doing so with your best interests at heart. Every recommendation made by our staff is based on the needs of our clients, their budget, and most importantly with their expected result in mind.

Every client has specific needs and concerns they want to be addressed. While there is no cookie cutter approach there is usually a common theme:

I HAVE A PROBLEM AND I NEED HELP!

History

Intelligent technology solutions, inc. or i.t.s. as it is commonly referred to, began in early 2002. It's auspicious beginnings were in Joe Wolodkevich's garage on a shoe string budget and the idea that people needed help with their technology. Giga What? Mega Who? What does all this mean to me?

With the assistance of Greene County Economic Development Director, Warren Hart, i.t.s. completed the Micro-Enterprise Training Course and began it's expansion and growth. Greene County I.D.A. Director Sandy Mathes sponsored i.t.s.'s application for Economic Development Loans via the Greene County Legislature and the journey began.

In a few months it was apparent that the region was ready for a Technology Startup and i.t.s. soon began to outgrow the confines of the GarageMahal as it became known. Joe had a discussion with his client, then Century 21 - Heartland Realty and it's owner Peggy Quigley about a certain Firehouse in downtown Coxsackie. After a series of discussions a plan was launched and an era began. i.t.s. was poised to occupy the former DM Hamilton #2 Firehouse after an extensive renovation by i.t.s. and Kuxakee Properties, LLC.

Renovations began on April Fools Day 2003, the majority of work was completed as i.t.s. opened it's doors on December 21st, 2003 to a Sneak Peek Grand Opening to over 150 well wishers, customers, and community representatives.

Director of Technology Services

chris bourguignon

Chris has known that he wanted to work with computers for most of his life which has highly motivated him to better himself as an IT professional. While pursuing his Associates in Computer Information Systems, Chris began repairing computers for friends and family in his free time. Realizing his passion for the field but not sure of what area to specialize in, Chris began working as a technician at i.t.s. in 2005 to explore his options.

After four years at i.t.s., Chris ventured back to school to earn his Bachelor’s degree. In May of 2011, Chris graduated with Honors receiving his B.S. in Computer Networks and Systems Administration at Sage College of Albany. In addition to earning his bachelors Chris also was recognized for his academic excellence, earning a 3.9 GPA, and welcomed into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. This chapter recognizes high scholastic achievement for adult students that face competing interests of home and work. Chris is currently working to finish his certifications in MSCA and MCSE. Though Chris has a strong technological background, he always looks forward to the challenges new clients bring.

While Chris has been busy at i.t.s., he has been even busier outside of work. When not at i.t.s, Chris enjoys working on his house with his wife and spending time with family and friends. He can usually be seen on the weekends with his sons and "two biggest helpers" Christopher Jr. and Cameron playing and working in the yard.

There he pursued a degree in Computer Information Technology and obtained his associates in May of 2009. The next step for Matt was to obtain his B.S. in Computer Information Systems at Sage College of Albany. During his course of study, Matt completed an internship at i.t.s. and shortly after was hired as a technician. Matt is open to all opportunities the future may hold for him at i.t.s.

Technicians

erik culver

Erik has spent many years tinkering with computers on both the hardware and software ends, at least as far back as the days of the Commodore 64. In 2014, after working as a commercial web offset printer, he completed his B.A. in Computer Science from The University at Albany (SUNY). He began working at i.t.s. soon afterwards.

In his spare time, Erik can be found spending time with his family. Also, a lifelong musician, he has played with several bands as guitarist, bassist and/or vocalist, most recently with "The Knuckleheads."

jared trafton

Jared has always enjoyed using electronics from a very young age, as his grandfather would always have him learning new things on computers he had around his house. As he got older his focus turned more to gaming on computers and on gaming consoles. But after a few years of college at SUNY New Paltz, Jared realized he wanted to pursue a career in the IT field. He decided to switch majors and started fresh at HVCC. He received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, achieving multiple Deans list awards along the way. His eagerness to learn more from actual hands on experience led him to accept a position on the i.t.s. team in June 2015. Through this position he looks to continue to grow and build a career in the IT field.

When Jared is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies mainly revolve around sports and working out. Jared also continues to build his side business as a Realtor.

david abe

Having always been fascinated by technology, the decision to join the IT field became an easy one to make. After building his first computer and years of tinkering around with operating systems, he landed a job with a Network Surveillance Integrator. He spent 2+ years programming and installing IP camera systems in a major city. This offered valuable experience in break/fix, remote troubleshooting computer systems, RF systems, and Cisco switches.

Joining the i.t.s. team has allowed him to relocate from the Newburgh area to Albany which has brought him closer to family. In his free time he enjoys playing sports such as tennis and golf. He also enjoys staying current with the latest technology and spending time with his family in Chatham and Glens Falls.

daniel seegars

When offered a position at i.t.s. Dan was excited to apply his skills in a career that he is passionate about.  Dan’s passion for computers and technology derived from his father who is an electrical engineer.  As a boy, Dan’s father gave him a computer to play with and he discovered he loved learning about how the computer worked from the inside out.

During high school Dan attended Dutchess County BOCES where he received his A+ Computer Technician certification.  Dan continued his education at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY.  While working in the service industry Dan learned about customer service, attention to detail, and the value of passion for the work he did. Dan relocated to Albany, NY and continued his studies at Hudson Valley Community College where he received his PC Pro Certification.  Dan is currently working towards achieving a degree in Engineering.

When not working behind a computer or destroying an old hard drive, you’ll find Dan riding his motorcycle, snapping beautiful images, hiking or camping, or even cooking up a delicious dinner.  Besides computers, if you really were to ask Dan about his true passion, ask him about his best furry pal, Ajani and you will hit it off “purr”fectly.

In her spare time, Debbie loves spending time with her family, proud beyond words to have; Christopher, Maureen, Anne and Catherine call her "Mom".  In the spring of 2011, "Nana" joyously became her third name and with the addition of Christina to her growing family, she proudly added “mother in law” to the list.  When the kids and grandkids aren’t around you’ll usually find her working around her house, mowing her lawn, planting flowers, hanging out in her pool or proudly bragging to anyone listening about her "absolutely beautiful" grandsons; Braiden, Christopher Jr, Alexander and Cameron.  Most recently, Debbie has welcomed her "gorgeous" first Granddaughter, Leah.  On the days she does venture away from home, she can be spotted driving around in her "awesome, mean yellow toy" with the convertible top down, further enjoying life.
